Below is a small synopsis of projects that we have completed in the recent
past.

|
|
Weslake Inc. provided the design of a stormwater management
system that included quality and quantity controls as well as the design
of an ultra-violet treatment facility.
We assisted the City and affected landowners in deriving a
cost-sharing agreement using the Drainage Act.
Construction management services were also included.

We
worked with the City of Brantford, some special interest groups and
approving agencies to devise an environmentally sensitive plan for the
Northwest Industrial Area. This
project is especially challenging as it contains some rare vegetation
species as well as a “perched fen” area.
The “savanna” characteristics were also taken into
consideration and preserved. New
technologies are being implemented in order to arrive at the most
comprehensive solution. Phase 1 of the project is currently under construction. |

Weslake
provided project management services to the City of Hamilton on the Gore
Park Fountain project. The
new fountain was installed in Gore Park as part of Hamilton’s
Sesquicentennial celebrations in 1996.
The project was spearheaded by The Fountain Foundation and the Head
of the Lake Historical Society. Weslake’s
contribution included coordination of the various engineering disciplines
and contractors from inception to completion of the construction and
installation. We are proud to have played a role in the reinstatement of a
longstanding Hamilton landmark |
